Updated: Report selection and ordering in Shopper Behavior

Enhancements and updates make it easier to find and order your regular reports and discover new ones

Shopper Behavior reports contain a wide variety of data points that can be crucial to growing your business at Walmart. We’re making it easier to navigate and order those reports and find the data you need to reveal key shopper insights. 


Over time, we’ve improved the user experience so that navigating to the reports you need is more intuitive. We’ve also added report details, context, and more, so you can get to the right insights faster. 


In 2026, we’ve updated Shopper Behavior report ordering so you can order reports with greater ease and confidence: guided when you need it, direct when you don’t. Use the new Assisted Mode toggle to switch between report-ordering modes, based on your needs. 


With Assisted Mode On, experience a step-by-step guide through report ordering, helping you unlock the value of Shopper Behavior insights with greater flexibility and clarity, including:

  • A navigation panel that shows where you are in the report ordering process so you always know what's done and what's next, and can move at your own pace
  • Redesigned product selection to see exactly how many UPCs you're analyzing, giving you clarity and control over your report scope
  • Additional guidance at each step with clear definitions, real-world examples, and contextual help to understand what to select and why
  • A summary page for a final review of your selections to ensure you'll get the insights you need
  • Clear and actionable error messages that guide you to resolve missing selections, incorrect time periods, or configuration issues before submitting the report form


With Assisted Mode Off, report ordering mimics the original single-page form, offering a streamlined experience: perfect when you know exactly what you need and how to get there. Experience an improved user interface that makes it easier to find what you need and confirm your selections, including UPC counts for product selection and a reorganized and improved input flow.
