Walmart Data Ventures Verified Service Providers

About the Program

Explore our network of independent, verified service providers. The Walmart Data Ventures Verified Service Provider Directory connects suppliers with verified service providers offering specialized services across data exchange, analytics, retail media, and more.

Verified Service Providers (VSPs) are independent third parties that have successfully completed Walmart Data Ventures’ security, compliance, and data governance vetting, enabling them to work with Walmart data through Scintilla.

The directory helps suppliers identify verified service providers that offer analytics, integration, retail media, and solution development services connected to Scintilla.

You must also be eligible to register as a Goods Not For Resale (GNFR) supplier at Walmart and pass an External Party Risk Management (EPRM) security audit. Eligibility criteria are subject to change.

No, there is no fee for the Verified Service Provider program.

The verification consists of onboarding as a GNFR supplier at Walmart to obtain system access, an External Party Risk Management (EPRM) assessment, and completion of a learning module with a final exam. Each step is completed independently, and timelines may vary based on your specific use case. Most providers complete the program within 6 to 8 weeks.

Verification remains valid as long as the service provider stays in good standing with all program Terms and Conditions and their third-party agreements with subscribers. Verified providers are required to complete an annual VSPAC each year to confirm continued eligibility. Full program renewal occurs every two years.

Yes. Participation in the Verified Service Provider (VSP) program is required for all third parties seeking access to Walmart data through Scintilla Basic or Charter subscriptions.

For service providers supporting Charter members, VSP participation is a prerequisite to being eligible to enter into a Service Provider Access Agreement (SPAA) with a Charter subscriber. More broadly, participation in the VSP program is required to establish, maintain, or renew any SPAA with a Walmart Scintilla subscriber.

Once verified, service providers participate in two annual activities to maintain their standing in the program.

The first is the VSPAC (Verified Service Provider Annual Confirmation) — a short, structured form completed annually. It covers eight areas of your data use and compliance standing.

The second is the Annual Service Provider Exchange — a 90–120 minute conversation between your team and the Walmart Data Ventures team. We share program updates relevant to your service area. You share your feedback and what’s working which can help shape how the program develops.

Disclaimer: Service Providers are independent third parties and not affiliated with Walmart Data Ventures / Scintilla. Inclusion in the Scintilla Verified Service Provider directory is not an endorsement from Walmart. Offerings and pricing are subject to change at the discretion of the service provider.
